Privacy Policy

Effective October 19, 2026. What this website collects, what we do with it, who handles it for us and how to have it changed or deleted.

Who we are

Tuolumne County Junk Removal is a business name of Wacky Weedeating LLC, based in Sonora, California 95370. We work in partnership with Wacky Weedeating, and both names belong to that one company, so your details stay inside it. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean that company.

This policy covers this website, tuolumnecountyjunkremoval.com, and the estimate forms on it. Questions about it, or about your information, go to (209) 213-1324 (Monday to Friday 7 AM to 6 PM, or Saturday 8 AM to 4 PM), or use the contact form.

The short version

  • We collect only what you type into an estimate form, plus any photos you choose to attach.
  • We use it to call or text you back about your job, give you a price and do the work.
  • We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
  • You can ask us to show you, correct or delete what we have at any time.

What you send us through the forms

The quick estimate card on the homepage asks for your name and phone number. The full estimate form asks for:

  • your name and phone number (the only two required fields)
  • your town
  • what needs to go, if you tap any of the choices
  • your notes about the job
  • up to three photos, if you choose to attach them

With either form, the page also sends the page you sent it from, which form you used, how long the page was open before you pressed send, and a random code that stops the same request from being saved twice. The timing and the code help keep out spam robots.

If you call us instead, our phone keeps a normal call log: the number you called from and the date and time of the call.

Photos

Photos help us price a job without a visit. Please send photos of the pile only, and keep people's faces, children, license plates, house numbers, mail, documents and anything else private out of the frame. If something private ends up in a photo, tell us and we will delete it.

Photos taken on a phone can carry hidden details, such as where and when they were taken. We do not use those details. You can turn off location tagging in your camera settings before you send.

Photos are saved in a private folder in our Google Drive and attached to the notification email our team receives. They are not shared publicly and only people on our team can open them.

What the site collects on its own

This site has no accounts or logins, sets no cookies, and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The fonts and photos come from this site, not from another company, and nothing you do here is sent to anyone else until you press send on a form.

Like nearly every website, the server that hosts these pages writes a short technical log line when a page is requested: the IP address, the page, the time and the browser type. We use those logs only to keep the site running and secure, and we do not combine them with what you send through a form. Our host keeps them for a limited time and then deletes them.

To stop a form from being sent many times in a row, your browser keeps a note of the times you sent it in its session storage. That note stays in your browser, is never sent to us, and is cleared when you close the tab.

How we use your information

  • to call or text you back about your estimate and answer your questions
  • to work out a price, from your photos or a visit
  • to schedule and do the job, and to bill for it
  • to keep normal business records, such as job and tax records
  • to spot and stop spam and misuse of the forms

We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send you marketing calls or texts.

Who handles it for us

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (ads based on what you do on other websites). The only outside companies that handle it are the ones that run the tools we use:

  • Google (Apps Script, Sheets, Drive and Gmail). The form sends your request to a Google Apps Script that runs under our Google account. It adds a row to a Google Sheet that only our team can open, saves any photos in our Google Drive and emails the details to our team.
  • Railway, the company that hosts this website and its server logs.
  • Our phone company, and yours, carry the calls and texts between us.

These companies handle the information for us under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not share personal information with any other business for its own marketing. We may also share information if the law requires it, for example to answer a court order, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

Form requests stay in our spreadsheet, and photos in our Drive, for as long as we need them to price, schedule, do and bill the job, and to keep the business and tax records the law asks us to keep. A request that did not turn into a job is kept only while it is useful for following up with you. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

When our spam checks set a request aside, a short record of it (name, phone, town, the start of the notes and the page) is kept on a separate tab of the spreadsheet, so that a real person caught by mistake can still get a call back.

Keeping it safe

This site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and the forms send your request to Google over an encrypted connection too. The spreadsheet, the Drive folder and the emails stay private to our Google account. The form handler cleans what it receives and limits how many requests it accepts, to keep out spam and attacks.

No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please do not send anything you would not want stored, such as payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or passwords. We never ask for those through this site.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what personal information we have about you, where it came from and what we use it for
  • give you a copy of it
  • correct anything that is wrong
  • delete it (if the law makes us keep something, such as the tax record for a finished job, we will tell you what and why)

To ask, call (209) 213-1324 or send the contact form and say what you would like. Because this site has no accounts, we confirm a request by calling or texting the phone number you gave us, so we know it is really you. Someone else can make a request for you, and we may ask them to show that you agreed. We will not treat you any differently for asking, and we answer within 45 days.

California privacy rights

California's consumer privacy law (the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) gives California residents the right to know, delete and correct the personal information a business holds about them, to opt out of its sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be treated differently for using these rights.

That law applies to businesses that pass certain size tests: yearly revenue above about $25 million (adjusted for inflation), buying, selling or sharing the personal information of 100,000 or more California residents or households a year, or earning half or more of their revenue from selling or sharing personal information. We are a small local business that does not sell or share personal information, so the law may not apply to us. We honor the requests in "Your choices" for everyone anyway.

  • Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, including that of anyone under 16. There is nothing to opt out of, but you are welcome to tell us not to.
  • Sensitive information. We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and we do not use anything you send to infer things about you.
  • Direct marketing (California Civil Code section 1798.83). We do not share personal information with other businesses for their direct marketing.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. This site does not track visitors over time or across other websites, and it does not let other companies do so, so there is nothing for these signals to switch off. Every visitor is treated the same way whether or not a signal is sent.

Children

This site is for adults arranging junk removal. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, call (209) 213-1324 and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other websites, such as Wacky Weedeating, county and state agencies in our guides, and the web designer's LinkedIn page. Their own privacy policies apply once you are there.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you have already sent us, we will say so at the top of this page.
